A New York based photographer who has long embraced alternative photo techniques, Jeffrey APOIAN utilizes some of the oldest photography practices as an artistic form to create unique images. He has participated in previous shows curated by Greek artist and curator, Dimitrios Antonitsis, in the Hydra School Projects. The Hydra School Projects in Hydra, Greece, is a fifteen year endeavor to present established and up and coming conceptual artists.

APOIAN developed his passion for photography when he was ten years old. His mother gave him a developing kit and he hasn’t looked back since. He is a photographer who is fascinated by most subject matters and the mediums photography has offered through the ages. Known professionally for his work with beauty and fashion, his style is classic and modern.

APOIAN’s photography has been seen on magazine covers and in editorials throughout Europe and the United States: Elle, Vogue, Marie Claire and various art magazines. His roster of clients range from Arrow Shirts and Aveeno to Victoria’s Secret. His editorial, advertising and cd cover subjects include; Yoko Ono, Sting, Chloe Sevigny, Christy Turlington, Ellen Burstyn and Willie Nelson. www.jeffreyapoian.com
